Bitcoin is, as some have put it, “freedom money.” It is a store of value that can’t be seized by despotic governments and allows its bearers true ownership.
This vision of bitcoin has just one problem: what happens if they turn the internet off? Blockstream’ Satellite program is designed to address exactly that.
With the just announced version 2.0, users can synchronize a bitcoin full node without an internet connection. What’s more, the company plans on launching sales of specialized receivers and dishes.

Don’t know if it could get more bitcoin than that!
